What is the QB4ALL
Student Advisory & Volunteer Council?
The QB4ALL Student Advisory & Volunteer Council is a group of middle and high school students who support QB4ALL’s mission of expanding access to quizbowl for students facing financial barriers and students with learning differences. The Council members serve as ambassadors, advisors, and leaders—bringing student voices directly into QB4ALL’s work

Who Can Join?

Middle school and high school students

Students active in quizbowl (or recently active)

Students interested in service, leadership, advocacy, or accessibility

Students with insights into how to best reach out or assist students with learning differences

Any student who thinks they can and wants to help
Leadership & Experience

The Council members may take on leadership roles (Chair, Vice Chair, project leads)

Service is appropriate to list on resumes and school activity forms
​​

Members may be recognized in QB4ALL materials and reports


Why a Student Advisory & Volunteer Council?
Students understand the quizbowl experience in a way adults cannot. The Council helps QB4ALL:

Time Commitment

Flexible and volunteer-based

Students choose **1–2 ways** to contribute based on interest and availability

No minimum hours or fundraising quotas

What Do Council Members Do?
Members choose from a menu of activities, such as:

Sharing information about QB4ALL at tournaments

Advising QB4ALL on accessibility and inclusion
